Do we all know that “French” toast isn’t really French? Like
“French” fries aren’t really French either.
This popular American breakfast food isn’t something that I make often,
but this time I wanted to try something different, adding International Delight’s
Cinnabon creamer to the egg mixture along with other ingredients.
Egg mixture for two slices of bread:
2 eggs
~ 1-2 oz. International Delight Cinnabon Creamer
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
In a small bowl, beat eggs and mix in all the other
ingredients.
In a medium-sized skillet, melt ½ tbsp. of butter on
medium heat.
Dip each bread slice separately in egg mixture till fully
covered.
Fry it up till golden on both sides.
I always cut up my French toast, pancakes, and waffles
before drizzling syrup on it. I feel it prevents the bread from soaking up the
syrup too fast, and helps prevent adding more syrup than needed. Anyone else do
that? :)
